To install PyOSA, checkout the py-osacomponent trunk from svn (see below) and build the PyOSA project. Copy the PyOSA.component file to /Library/Components or ~/Library/Components. (If the Components folder doesn't already exist, create one first.) Install py-appscript 0.19.x.
Script Editor and other OSA-aware applications will automatically detect the PyOSA component the next time they are launched.
PyOSA's subversion repository can be checked out anonymously with the following command:
svn checkout http://appscript.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/appscript/py-osacomponent/
